Yet again, another article bashing Judge Kinsey. If you only vote for one thing this year, this might be one of the few times that your vote really counts. This person's a monster with no heart. She needs to go so more of us don't end up in jail ourselves.

Latest Fatal Shooting Strikes a Racial Nerve

This is an interesting commentary from the Pensacola News Journal. It shows, not only the racial issues that this shooting brings up, but also the Sheriff's inability to see this as a racial issue. An interesting point is the differences between stories of the official version of the shooting and the "talk on the streets" (and even in the Sheriff's office itself).

This article is from the Pensacola Voice and speaks volumes about an unethical legal system and the people that perpetuate its corruption.

Mass incarceration is by far the greatest crisis facing Black America, ultimately eclipsing all others. It is an overarching reality that colors and distorts every aspect of African American political, economic and cultural life, smothering the human � and humane � aspirations of the community. Even the boundless creativity of youth cannot escape the chains that stretch from the Gulag into virtually every Black social space. We hear prison, talk prison, wear prison and � to a horrific degree � have become inured to the all-enveloping presence of prison in virtually every Black neighborhood and extended family.
